Ty Dayberry

Ty Dayberry (a.k.a Jr. Hippie Stinx) received his first pair of telemark skis for his birthday present at the age of ten, and five years later started to ski as a professional athlete. Starting his carer with such exposures as Tough Guy IV and Unparalleled IV “The Lost Season,” Dayberry put his name on the map as a dominant force on the tele-scene at a young age. Since then Ty has been in main-stream Warren Miller movies, to underground freeheel movies like Lipstick-films, and multi-sport films like Summit Side Productions and Tall Treez Productions “Into the Lion’s Den” (the newest to the list of his accomplishments). He has dominated the competition scene on top of maintaining his role as a “on-screen-skier.” Ty loves to keep it local and tears up the surrounding back-country and parks in Tahoe, but enjoys traveling to foreign lands and seeks adventure as much as possible. He is known as the “anti-telemark skier,” but don’t let rumors deceive you, he is as granola as they come, just with a lil hip-hop steeze added to the mix.
